HISTORY
WHO WE WERE - WHO WE ARE
The company OFFICINE ALPI was founded
in 1970 with the name Alpi di Favero Albino & C. s.n.c. and it
started its activity in the construction of automation plants for
various product fields.
Towards the mid ‘70s the first
machines for mushroom cultivation were manufactured on request of some
mushroom growers of the area. By supplying machines and equipment to
the mushroom farms located on its territory, OFFICINE ALPI has had the
opportunity to mature significant experience directly on field. The
manufacture of mushroom cultivation machinery has accordingly become
the main activity in which the company is mostly specialized.
During the next years the search for
continuous technological innovation brought to the designing and
realization of more and more complex machinery both efficient and
reliable, able to answer concretely to the needs of the mushroom
growing milieu.
The types of products offered and the research for personalization to meet each customer’s needs have subsequently increased.
Towards the end of the ‘80s OFFICINE ALPI began exporting and has reached markets all over the world from Europe to the Mid East, from America to Asia, from Africa to Australia.

In the ‘90s the rise in work orders
forced extension of the production area of the company. A new structure
was accordingly built that became operational in 2000 and there now are
3.500 square meters of covered surface available for production.
In October 2002 the company changed
its name to OFFICINE ALPI SRL maintaining unvaried its activity but
renovating its spirit.
The main aims of the company were re-confirmed which are the continuous improvement of the quality standards of its products and the offer of a more and more efficient service to its customers.
In 2005 the company acquired the ISO 9001:2000 certification from DNV.
In OFFICINE ALPI all work phases, from designing to the final realization of the machinery are performed inside the company where devotion, passion and a thirty-year experience contribute to achieve high quality standards of its products.
